Individual Estimated Tax Due Dates

Estimated taxpayers should file their quarterly estimated tax payments using Form 502D (or preprinted voucher) by the dates indicated in the chart below.

If the due date falls on a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday, then the return or voucher would be due on the next business day.

Estimated taxpayers who file on a calendar year basis may choose to file their tax return, and pay any remaining tax due, by January 31, instead of filing the fourth quarter estimated tax payment.

Farmers and fishermen

Farmers and fishermen may file their tax return and pay the tax due by March 1, instead of filing estimated taxes.
