Closing Withholding Account
You can close your withholding account by calling 410-260-7980 from Central Maryland or 1-800-638-2937 from elsewhere in Maryland, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EDT
Please be ready to provide the following information:
- Name
- Telephone Number
- Account number
- Reason for closing the account (out of business, no employees, etc.),
- Closing date
You can also close your account by completing and remitting the Final Report Form available in your withholding coupon booklet or by downloading and mailing the Form MW506FR.
